Making Peace with Your Past 

 

 

A support-group study that offers practical, biblically-based guidance to lead adults to identify, understand, and come to terms with the feelings and problems of growing up in a dysfunctional family. This course will help you understand problems from the past, and identify and remove emotional, psychological, and spiritual barriers to fellowship with God.

Basic Peer Counselor Training

 

 

Since 1989, the Center for Women’s Ministries, Inc. has been training counselors to provide crisis intervention with a spiritual emphasis to improve the quality of life for women who are hurting.  This powerful material consists of 14 two and a half-hour sessions which include discussion and activities to equip counseling volunteers.  The topics include understanding the effects of personality temperaments on counseling and healing, communication, the healing process, forgiveness, unhealthy relationships, setting personal boundaries, the influence of having a distorted image of God, a challenge to personal accountibility, and others
